[ This diary is collected in a notebook that she found in the supply closet early into their stay at the hospital. All of the pages for the various characters have been sort of edited and re-edited with pen. Some of them have had additional pages added on later in the notebook. The penmanship is fine, and the diary is stored within her room hidden. The front page is quickly labelled: ]

This diary is created in the event that I am incapacitated or killed, that it can end up in the hands of Dozzu. Or if my memories are somehow made faulty, that I can compare against myself, no matter what happens in the coming days.

She's weak-eeming and caring, a viable target if necessary.

She explained to me what a mage is. Using the energy of life in order to power magecraft. She also confessed something she asked me to keep secret. The information wasn't at all useful here, but it makes me wonder if she's resigned or trusts me.

Danger assessment: 1. Sakura's still shown no signs of being a threat to my plan.

I realized I've been slow to update here. I still don't think Sakura represents a threat to the plan, but there is more to note about her.

She might have taken her own life to protect "Senpai" from "Nii-san" - she seems close to both parties, but has devoted herself more completely to "Senpai." With the context Rin gave us, not to mention her actions at Gant's trial, it's clear there's a connection there too.

She seemed aghast at the idea they're lovers, and they are from different families too. It could simply be an alliance, but that doesn't feel right to me.

I told her that I wanted her to find herself, and that wasn't a lie. I'm not immune to the irony that I'm going to cut that chance short, but at least that means that no one who won't die alongside her will miss her much, based on what she's said. I dou
